I had one of those poetic moments where I stopped and just marveled that I existed, somehow made of the perfect combination of chemicals and atoms, that would lend me the power to create whatever I imagined. My fingers and thumbs are miracles. I’ve always thought of them that way, but the ink stains just reminded me.

And I have some really manly hands.

chicky-pi sent: This isn't really an ask, but I wanted to say thank you. You're posts on your sewing and the amazing stuff you do made me finally go out and sign up for classes. I just wanted to say thanks.

I am genuinely touched. I really am. I actually cracked a tear. Or two. Or many.

May your threads be straight and stitches tight. And may the bobbin not tangle when you try to wind it. And watch the pins on the floor!

I hope to see fabulous things from you. ;3;

All the Fancy Eggs have been sold!

Good bye, my sweet darlings. ;_;

Back into the green with enough to spare. I paid off what I already purchased, so my first world problems have resolved itself. I’ll post what I ended up buying when it manages to arrive. It was worth it. NO IT WAS NOT. Yes it was. YOU WERE $50 IN THE RED. LIFE LESSON.

And huge huge thanks to MintGreenLolita and HelloMyNameisGeek. You guys are sweethearts. Stop it. ;_;

Learn from me, everyone. Next time you’re in the blues, just eat the damn ice cream instead.

But better a small scare then a big one.

As much as it hurts, it’s time to right foolish mistakes and turn the tables on my honest-to-goodness reckless spending. I caught myself trigger purchasing another cardigan and skirt, and I’m still waiting on an invoice from Innocent World about menial socks and tights! So while I can reason that I’ll be using the skirt and cardigan much more, I need to correct myself and let go of something I haven’t worn. I know a lot of my spending sprees are triggered by bad moments but it’s time to set myself on the better path.

  • Metamorphose, Fancy Egg Mini Skirt in pea green
    New with tags, purchased directly from the reservations.
    Has not been altered in anyway.

    $150 shipped within the USA.

I am including a (hopefully) matching headband from Angelic Pretty, from the Nostalgic Doll series. I purchased it from a Canadian seller, and it hasn’t arrived yet. I can hold the skirt until it arrives, or I can ship both separately. A gift courtesy of my self-improvement. :)

Link to various sources of feedback here.

You can contact me via ask or any method you choose from here. Facebook is preferable, as I’ve learned to check my “Other” inbox frequently.

I still have the Fancy Egg print in black available here!

You can’t have your cake and eat it too.

I keep telling myself this, yet I’m handing out so much cake that my bakery would go out of business. —

My Uniqlo hoodie came in, and I bought a size M. Big mistake! I ended up removing almost 4 inches from both sides. It was a good reason to use the overlocker, instead of returning it and asking for a size S.
It looks a ton better. I use to really love giant, oversized hoodies but… you can’t really do that with white. It just makes you look frumpy. But now I can frump around in pretty roses.
The hoodie is also actually pink and off-white, not cream and red. What the hell, Uniqlo.
I’m trying to finish an absolute complete set of slopers for Freya now. Basic slopers, contoured slopers, torse slopers, ect. Then… my goal and dream in life is to find the time to finish one dress. Just one dress by next week before heading back to FIDM.
