The Metamorphose skirt is the skirt version of the Meta Pintuck Ribbon JSK I traded away. I really lucked out finding it.

I’m a bit too tall for Axes Femme; not everything was long enough at the sleeves. At least half of this haul is going to say goodbye, but it was a very good sample selection of what works and what doesn’t.

I don’t know if anyone else cares, but Axes Femme seems to like making one-piece convertible collars instead of proper two-piece collars. Not my preference, but acceptable for the price.

• Emily Temple Cute, Strawberry Gobelin Dress

This dress makes me sad. I’m dearly in love with the gobelin strawberries, but it seems like I’m going through my second pubuerty because my bust has sprouted 2 inches. My hips have also widened slightly but my waist hasn’t changed. The waist actually borders on a tad too roomy.

That 2 inches that I’ve longed for since I was born makes this dress too tight around the bust and actually cuts painfully into my shoulders, meaning I would wear it never. It’s almost like the cut is missing the traditional ease you include in most dresses at the side that my own patterns have. That 1/2” would of made the world of difference.

I haven’t decided if I want to alter this or not. I’ve toyed with letting out the seams 1/4” and tapering it, adding a red velvet insert, or even turning it into a highwaist skirt, or just selling it and trying my luck again. I’ve taken up an easy, long term workout regime, but I’m not willing to give up my new cup size. I’m very much in love with the fabric… but my pits. ;_;

Trickling in, trickling in… I’m letting everything move in as I move out less (or never) worn items. Keeps an equilibrium in my wardrobe, as I continue the never-ending quest of perfecting the fashions I love. I feel like I’ve been naturally heading towards a very woodsy, organic mood, which I think fits my senses suitably. I’ve been trading out my accessories for ones I like and wear more.

I need to pop some boning in that skirt though. On my ever-growing list of things to do. Theresia Rose (and Grazia Crown and even Daydream Carnival after seeing them in person) are prints that I feel like are much more impressive in photos. Considering this skirt’s simplistic construction , I think I would of been incredibly disappointed had I purchased it even on sale via IW. This one was from a friend’s oddment pack.

The crochet corsage, handmade by DIXMACABRE, is absolutely adorable and fits my flat hair wonderfully. I’ll be putting some off white pearls in the center to provide some contrast.

Before anyone asks, the Bambi cardigan has been out of production for possibly years. It was a second-hand steal. I do not know where you can find them besides from owners willing to part. :(

Innocent World couldn’t take a decent stock photo to save their lives. These are absolutely stunning in person. The Mucha ones are very vibrant by themselves.

Trying to photograph white on almost white doesn’t work out like you hope it will. Maybe I’ll try again when I’m not so rushed.

The first batch of big orders… More are trickling in while I’m moving things out at the same time.

I’ll just take a giant burando bedding photo when this is all over. Good deals, good deals, and goods steals everywhere.

For people who like to follow my bad choices, I use Pinterest to organize my orders and collection of stock images. So… these pants. They retailed for $200 by 7 For All Mankind. After a battle of wills (not my will, long story short is that you can aggressively bargain at boutiques), I got them for $40 because they were pretty much dead winter stock.

They’re velvet. With gold damask printing. Ke$ha wore the same pair at another point.

These are just… so out of my style and will always be a standalone piece. But gold is not a terrible compliment to my wardrobe and a few black shirts won’t kill me. I’ll find a way. I’m not a pants girl but a change is good for me right now, and I still definitely need it. I’ll still be the frill-addict that I am.

I’m really just terrible with the color black. But these are just fab as fuck.
